We have one of the largest thrift stores in the area, a public gym, meeting rooms that can be reserved for special occasions, a library, a space for the Civil Air Patrol, and are part of the Akeley Women’s Shelter.

Use of Gym and Meeting Room is free for everyone on a first-come-first-served basis, in order to reserve a time, fill out the form HERE.

A high level of conduct is expected by all who use the facility, that means; A. treat everyone with kindness and respect. B. clean up behind yourself.

We are open from 1-5pm, Tuesday through Friday. Come and have a cup of coffee or a cookie with one of our volunteers (Ruth, Dan, Steve, or Harvey). We have a carefully selected variety of children to adult books in all major categories. Also available for use are DVDs, computers, and printers. Donations and new volunteers are always welcome!
